Southern Utah Auto Tech was founded in November 2007 as a full-service automotive repair shop right here in St. George, Utah. What started as a vision to create a shop where honesty and quality came first has grown into a trusted local business serving drivers across the region. Having lived in Southern Utah for most of our lives, we understand the unique needs of our community and the importance of keeping vehicles safe and dependable in the hot desert climate and rugged conditions. In January 2009, we expanded our services to include U-Haul rentals, giving our customers even more ways to rely on us for their transportation needs. Brent was born in Las Vegas NV where he lived until 9 Years old. He moved to St George in 1983. Brent graduated from Pine View High School where he studied automotive, small engine repair and was a teacher aide in the automotive classroom. He also attended Dixie College for two years where he studied automotive and business. He is ASE certified in engine repair, brakes, steering and suspension, manual drive train and axles, electrical/electronic systems, engine performance, exhaust, heating and a/c. Brent has worked in the community for over 23 years for various auto repair shops and opened Southern Utah Auto Tech in 2007. He continues his training and has more than 50 certificates from continued education training courses on specific systems on today’s cars. Brent is married with 5 kids that keep him busy when away from the shop. He has been involved in the Boy Scouts, coaching little league sports, and various other school and community activities. He has been involved in city league sports, semi-pro football, bowling leagues, tournament fishing and numerous other activities. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends the most; camping, fishing, watching sports, and just hanging out.
My name is Kevin Dorgan, I am new to the St. George area. I am originally from New Jersey. I moved to Utah about 30 years ago and lived in Richfield for most of that time with my two wonderful kids. I have been in the automotive industry for 28 years, working in tire stores, oil shops, independent shops and been lead mechanic for multiple shops. I specialize in brakes, front ends, suspension, emissions, A/C, engine performance, motorcycle repair and small engine repair.
